ARRIVING AT MT. BALDY & SETTING UP CAMP

July 11 (11:30 - 4:00 PM)

Camp Baldy participants may arrive at their convenience on the afternoon of July 11. After checking in at the parking lot, you will take the ski lift to the Top of the Notch, where a team member will greet you and escort you to the campsites. Participants are encouraged to setup their campsite in the afternoon, before taking the lift back down the mountain (around 4:00pm) for the start of the 5k or Group Hike.

Lunch will be available for purchase at the Top of the Notch.

Bring whatever you’d normally pack for an overnight camping trip—think sleeping bag, toiletries, and a headlamp. All meals will be provided, and indoor bathrooms are available for brushing your teeth and washing up. You’ll need to bring your own tent, though we do have a limited number available to rent. If you'd like to reserve one, please check the rental option during registration.

  • If you want to sign up for the Camp Baldy experience, click the link on this page to register. Please DO NOT also sign up on UltraSignup! Once you are registered for Camp Baldy, we’ll make sure you’re placed in either the race or the guided hike group, depending on your preference.
