Four Cities. Four Races.

Chase the Throne was a four week head-to-head elimination racing tournament that took take place in four cities — New York, Boston, Austin, and San Francisco — in early 2021.

At the start of the tournament, every runner was randomly placed into a bracket in their respective city. Every week we announced a new segment in each city. Competitors then tried to post a time faster than their opponent. The faster time advanced to the next round. The runner with the slower time was eliminated. There were four rounds and the in the final round the king and queen of every city each walked away with a $250 gift card from our local running store partners.
