Future Champs - Grand Slam Track

Future Champs at Franklin Field is a youth running event taking place on Sunday, June 1 (the final day of the Grand Slam Track meet). This event gives young athletes the unique opportunity to race on the same track that will host some of the world’s best just hours later. Future Champs is open to kids ages 6-18 and all experience levels, with a variety of short-distance races (100m, 400m, and 800m) designed to encourage participation and fun. (There will also be some mile sections for 15-18 year old runners.)

All participants will receive free admission into the stadium for Sunday’s pro races and will have the opportunity to meet a few of the Grand Slam Track athletes earlier in the day. Whether new to running or already competing regularly, Future Champs is a great way for young runners to experience the excitement of race day in a supportive, family-friendly setting.
